Class Announcements

HOMEWORK

Homework will be given Monday - Thursday, it will include a math home link that will review the skill taught that day, spelling and reading. Please don't spend a lot of time doing homework, it should not be a stressful time! If you have any questions concerning homework don't hesitate to ask.

Spelling Tests

The children are assigned a new spelling list every Monday. A pretest is taken on Thursday. If a child gets all of his/her spelling words correct, he/she does not have to take the spelling test on Friday.

Introducing Mr. Fuzzy

Our class mascot this year has brown fuzzy fur, big ears, big feet and goes by the name of Mr. Fuzzy. Mr. Fuzzy will come home with a student on Fridays along with a journal and reading books. Please take time to help your child document their visit, by writing in the journal their day to day activities with your family. Please feel free to be as creative as you like. In the past families have taken pictures with Fuzzy at the lake, sitting at the braves game, etc. Just have fun with this activity and don't forget to READ!!!
